What Did Jesus Say About Earthquakes?

On the day after Christmas 2004, a 9.0 magnitude earthquake happened about 100 miles off the coast of Sumatra. This was followed by an unprecedented tidal wave tsunami. Tremendous devastation was experienced across several countries in south east Asia, including huge death tolls in Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, Indonesia. Does it seem like these disasters are becoming more and more common? What about the almost unprecedented four hurricanes in a row in the Carribean just a few months ago. For both of these events, they are the largest such events in over 40 years.

Could these Bible verses tell us what is happening and why?
