Not a telemarketer:
- Jerks who claim to call on the behalf of credit card companies.
Possible garbage callers:
- "Aspire visa" calls claiming you have an aspire visa and they are going to send you important information in the mail. Do you mind if they tape the call so they can record your enrollment. Big problem: They have no caller ID on their call. They are trying to trick you into agreeing to some kind of program like a buyers assurance, travel club, or discount club, or other nonsense you don't need. Never agree to their taping your consent to anything, even if they claim to be your credit card company. A reputable credit card would have used your monthly statement to contact you with offers.
- They claim a customer service number of 888-829-3135. This "cardholder customer service" number says it is only open 4pm to 11pm EST. Have you ever heard of a credit card that doesn't work during the normal part of the working day?
- 10-27-2005 - 11:30 - No ID call - Claimed to be "John Matthews", but repeatedly refused to give the name of his supervisor. Finally claimed it was "Martin".
