Many spammers try to spoof or imitate [PayPal (Search for PayPal)], Yahoo!, Fleet Bank, and other big companies, in the hope that you will submit your personal account information. Often they send messages to emails not associated with these companies in hopes to find new victims, or to get around blocks that these companies have put into emails going direction to the email addresses that they provide to their own customers.
Please be aware that reputable companies will never ask you to email your personal information such as ID, password, social security number, credit card numbers, etc.
If you receive an email appearing to be from one of these companies asking for this type of information, it's spam. Please report this email abuse by clicking your online mail service's "Spam" button. If you are actually a customer of the service, forward the spam to the company so that they can take action against the spammer.
