Visitation Essential
This is a vital part of the elder's work in nuturing members.
- "And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching adn preaching Jesus as the Christ" (Acts 5:42)
- "I... taught you publicly and from house to house" (Acts 20:20)
Visitation Planning
This should be part of the elder's meeting. List of names should be divided and given to those who can minister through visitation. Those doing visitation should be trained.
Visitation teams of two people are effective, spouses are great, experienced with trainee is also good.
Visiting should be done by appointment.
