The Seventh-day Adventist Bible Commentary Series CD-ROM, version 2.1, uses the powerful Libronix Digital Library System (LDLS). Ellen G. White’s published writings have been incorporated into this search engine, making it possible to search both her writings and the entire Bible Commentary Reference Series with the same system. Version 2.1 features a user-friendly home page which makes searching for Ellen White’s comments on a topic, name, or Bible verse quick and easy.

The Bible Commentary CD-ROM contains:

1. The Seventh-day Adventist Bible Commentary Series
Seventh-day Adventist Bible Commentary (vols. 1-7)
Updated Seventh-day Adventist Bible Dictionary (vol. 8)
Seventh-day Adventist Bible Students’ Source Book (vol. 9)
Seventh-day Adventist Encyclopedia (vols.10, 11)
Handbook of Seventh-day Adventist Theology (vol. 12).
Each of the separate volumes is indexed by page number for quick reference. The Commentary is linked to the King James and New International versions.

2. Full-Color Illustrations More than 100 interactive illustrations and 160 3-D maps put biblical people and places in perspective. Interactive links tie the graphics to the biblical text. 4. The Published Writings of Ellen G. White

There are two versions of Ellen White’s writings included on the Bible Commentary CD-ROM:

• The Standard Library Edition: Ellen White's 77 most frequently used books, including Testimonies for the Church (9 vols.), Conflict of the Ages (5 vols.), Christian Home Library (The Adventist Home, Early Writings, Counsels on Diet and Foods, etc.), almost all the devotional books, and the Comprehensive Index (4 volumes).

• The Complete Published Ellen G. White Writings: The complete text of all Ellen White's published writings, including all the titles in the Standard Library edition, plus 23 more book titles, 160 pamphlets, 5,000 periodical articles (taken from Signs of the Times, Review and Herald, division and union papers, etc.), Manuscript Releases (21 vols.), the Ellen G. White Biography (6 vols.), and the Comprehensive Index (vols. 1-4) with more than 400,000 links to the pages referenced in the entries. All volumes are indexed by page number for quick reference.

Either edition must be unlocked by paying an unlock fee (for first time buyers) or an upgrade fee (for previous owners of Ellen White’s Writings on CD-ROM). The two Legacy of Light editions are not available in the Libronix format, but Legacy of Light owners may upgrade to either the Standard or Complete edition. (This Libronix system is not compatible with the Folio version of Ellen White’s writings.)

Where to Pay the Unlock/Upgrade Fee

How to Unlock Ellen White’s writings
After you install the Bible Commentary CD-ROM on your computer, the Home Page will give you instructions for "unlocking" her writings. When you click on an option, you will automatically be sent to the Review and Herald’s secure web site, where you will enter your credit card information. The web site will then send you a unlock code. Customers who previously purchased a CD-ROM of Ellen White’s writings directly from the White Estate will pay a small upgrade price, while those who are purchasing her writings for the first time will pay the full price.
