  • CF2031 Sprint Compact Flash Adapter for Wireless
  • Works With Laptop or PDA, except for Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition - This is new new, the PCS connection software doesn't work properly with it.

• 2215 online w/ cf2031. PCS connection manager crashes right away, so I setup a network connection with #777 AND username AND 1st password ( sprint requires two ), I installed cf driver from cf2031.com, but I don't run PCS conn. Manager, but like I said I just setup a network connection, but use the cf2031 choice in network setup. Now, on to next project.
  • The steps I am taking:
    • Plug external battery into CF2031
    • Make sure it is off (no blinking green light)
    • Insert in HP IPAQ hx4705
    • Turn on with switch on right side of CF2031
    • 4)at New Modem Detected screen I tap "work" (tired "The internet" as well)
    • 5)Name it My Connection and make sure Cf2031 is selected
    • 6) for the number I enter #777
    • 7) username and pass I use my vision name and pass (what I use on my 3955, and it works)
    • 8) click advanced, change speed to 119K
    • 9)click finish
    • 10) attempt to start connecton (either manually or by going to a URL)

• Problems you might have:
  • 12) Cannot Connect balloon- cannot connect for an unknown reason. To Check your connection settings and change them.....
  • Solution: Make sure the card has been activated. You may need to do this on a laptop, since the Mobile Windows Second Edition is incompatible with the PCS Connection Manager for PC2003
