The long awaited ROM update for the O2 Xda II is now available here on the source O2 site. This is the last standard ROM which does not include the BlackBerry?Create update which I have been testing, that will come later as you can see below.
Also available are the new system applications, but to get access to these you will have to login.

The latest and final Xda II System Software is available for you to download.
New and changed in this version of software, v1.72.187:
Incorporates end user update 2 from Microsoft
Improved power management with the Bluetooth Manager
O2 Active
Improvements to listening to music or video when streaming via GPRS
This software does not have Blackberry software built in. The 1.72.181 software upgrade, which will be available from the 1st of November will feature Blackberry.
Upgrading XDA Roms might not work if the country codes don't match
yes, this happens because the ROM in your XDA II is Asian version and the ROM you are trying to upgrade is of UK version...once the XDA II detects country difference, it will fault out Country ID error...
