Unanimous ruling that being injured by the result of HMO's refusal to treat is not grounds for a lawsuit. You can sue in federal court, but you'll only get the amount of the denied benefit, and nothing for punitive or other damages. The Supreme Court justices ruled 5-4 that police are allowed demand ID from people they deem suspicious, so long as doing so doesn't incriminate them. The Post's editorial page commented:
"'You have the right to remain silent.' At least, you did before the Supreme Court handed down a decision in the case of Hiibel v. Sixth Judicial District Court of Nevada yesterday. Now, when a police officer suspecting you of a crime stops you in the street and asks your name, you can be prosecuted for refusing to answer."
