- How do you want to start the spider on it's searching? Will you expect to start it with a certain URL supplied on the commandline, or will you want it to start it's search from search engine results?
- Do you expect to use this spider on certain sites, or across large numbers of sites it discovered on it's own? How many urls do you expect it to process per day?
- What commandline switches do you want to have for controlling it's operation? What kind of history do you want the spider to keep regarding it's operation, for example, do you want it to avoid respidering Urls seen on previous runs? Do you care about obeying robots.txt?
