How To Choose Paint For A Family Room
Question: Getting ready to paint family room, and I wondered about durability of suede paint, such as Ralph Lauren, and Miller Brothers. It looks like suede after it is put on. I have pets and two teenagers. I don't know if it is washable.
Answer: Don't know how durable it is. Some things to think about when choosing paint:
- What does it need to be durable from?
- Is it a washable paint?
- Will it be a dark color?
- Is it a good quality paint?
- Do you need high scrubability, like for a hallway?
Be prepared to pay a good price for good quality paint. Your paint applicator is also very important, so get a decent applicator, not the 99 cent applicator.
