[Avweb NewsWire March 3, 2003]:
After a year of asking people to turn in suspicious aircraft, the FBI's own Cessna-182 in Bloomington, Illinois was turned in by local residents for "flying suspiciously". At first the FBI denied it was their plane, but now the FBI begrudgingly admits they were using their aircraft to track foreign nationals.
Just what kind of a stakeout you can manage while buzzing along in a small plane they didn't reveal.
Get this: The FBI says they're "monitoring vehicles and businesses, particularly those open late at night from which faxes or e-mails can be sent". Oooh... a business where faxes or e-mail can be sent, eh?! Sounds mighty suspicious to me...
