Easter is just about a month away. Since there are so many recipes to share for the holiday ahead, we are starting our Easter coverage this week.
Easter foods are multi-colored, appetizing and bring a breath of Spring into the air. This week we're happy to add dessert recipes from our subscribers as well as a very special Easter Torte . This Easter Torte is delightfully rich, easy to make and will appeal to the taste buds of every family member and guest.
Easter Dinner is special with traditionally ham as the main course. So what do you do with a ham to make it special? One idea is to glaze your ham with a sweet and spicy coating that adds zip to the tender ham slices. I personally tried this last year, and loved it. While the ingredients sound rash, the taste is fabulous!
When your ham is baked about one-half the required time, mix together in a bowl, the following ingredients: 1 jar (12-oz) apple jelly, 1 jar (12-oz) pineapple ice cream topping, 1-container (1-3/4-oz.) ground mustard, 2-Tablespoons prepared horseradish and 1-Tablespoon ground pepper. (Trust me, no typos here - these are the correct ingredients.) Then pour over ham and finish baking.

The Easter Bunny goes home, and what are you left with besides a few jelly beans and a lot of brightly colored Easter eggs? Most likely the kids eat the jelly beans, and leave it up to you to find a way to use several hard boiled eggs. Here are some ideas to help turn hard boiled eggs into delightful dishes.
