Not really wanting to get too involved here, because this topic is really nothing to do with selling books, I'd like to fill you in on something that evidently you don't know - and aren't going to find in the publications you are quoting.
First, DU is not radioactive. It is an extremely heavy metal which is used among other things for tank armor. Not only by us, but by Israel and probably most other countries as well. Certainly anyone who uses modern tanks probably has it all over the tanks themselves.
It makes really good armor.
To pretend it's a WMD is kind of silly, unless any tank round is a WMD... or any bunker buster. Just like lead makes good ammo, DU makes better ammo.
At any rate, if the army of YOUR country uses tanks, they almost certainly use DU as well for the armor if nothing else. So before casting the mote from your friends eye, take the one out of yours.
Vincente, on another note... Ever read "Clear and Present Danger"?? Until recently Columbia couldn't keep an honest judge alive, and most of the GNP was achieved by the manufacture and exportation to the US of one of the most toxic substances on earth. Your countrymen have been a huge problem for us. Glad to hear from a Columbian who is not afraid to criticize our government, while remaining a citizen of the country which has hurt us far more than Ben Ladin ever will. You must have balls the size of grapefruits.
