Windows 2003 with IIS 6

Tried the following searches for help on this topic:

• "Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions on this page" IIS6 "Windows 2003"

• http://www.webservertalk.com/archive176-2004-4-207707.html "IIS6 and Frontpage 2002 Extensions SLOWWWW" No real help here.
  • Someone suggeststs "You might wish to try the:"
    • 1) Sharepoint newsgroups
    • 2) IIS newsgroups
    • 3) Win2k3 newsgroups
  • Another idea: "You might consider setting up several virtual web servers, each with its own application pool, so that the load is split over several VWSs and AppPools?Create."

• http://www.frontpagewebmaster.com/m-197627/printable.htm doesn't seem to have a complete solution
  • User with problems with forms not working, and art gallery not working.
  • One hint was to enable Parent paths with the following:

To enable parent paths

 In IIS Manager, expand the local computer, right-click the starting-point directory of the 
      application you want to  configure, and then click Properties. 
 Click the Directory tab, and then click Configuration. 
 Click the Options tab. 
 In the Application configuration section, select the Enable parent paths check box. 
 Click OK. 

• That did not help the person asking. Other suggested deleting and reinstalling the site, and the person asking said this also did not help, they tried it three times.

  • This is a different problem relating to the emailing of forms.
  • You will need to specify Reply-to box in their fields of the form, so it needed to be unchecked from Form Properties -> Options -> Email results tab. Once this was unchecked, the form emailed ok. Thanks for your help!
