Barbara Simpson Radio Talk Show On KSFO
Barbara Simpson, the Babe In The Bunker, hosts a radio talk show on Sundays from 4pm to 7pm on KSFO. She covers many very interesting topics without the hype common in the conservative talk show industry. Main wiki page about Barbara Simpson's Radio Talk Show .
For example, on 9/25/2005, she was talking about government attempts to force all kids into preschool to take them away from their mothers, fathers, church, and give liberals an even earlier chance to mold their psyche.
Later she talked about an award to minority military hero, Tibor Rubin, who assisted American military troops who were stuck in a chinese concentration camp:
"Movies used to be made about heroes. This man is a real hero... He was in a chinese concentration camp... And he came out and he did what he could do be a good american even though he was discriminated against in the America military. He did the right thing. It is good that the military is going back through and reevaluating cases like his.... If they did good they should be honored and recognized because it doesn't matter what color they are.... But I'm not going to hold my breath for a movie. It's the kind of movie you would want your kids to see. Not the kind of victim because someone killed somebody, or because they are a minority.... When I find something like this, it is like, wow, there are good people out there. They dont make the news, because it's not the news. Bad stuff is the news."
But the Army has been reevaluating cases of heroism -- particularly involving members of minority groups -- to see whether Medals of Honor should have been given, and officers discovered Rubin and his story.
"By repeatedly risking his own life to save others, Corporal Rubin exemplified the highest ideals of military service and fulfilled a pledge to give something back to the country that had given him his freedom," Bush said at a White House ceremony.
