In a recent Amazon.com discussion thread, Ana-Liofa proposed some solutions to the problems of Columbian drug exports.Someone else responded that proposal didn't address the single word cause of people escaping into drug use: Poverty.

Here is my Ana's response:

Uh, not sure I understand... you wanted me to comment on Poverty?? It is no fun. Very Bad. Uncomfortable.

I've said several times that the young and the poor are those hurt most here?? What were you looking for - an anti-capitalist manifesto supporting those that want to damage our economy??

This is one of those times when I don't get it... I know you have quoted Marx and Engels era economic theory, are you espousing the idea that money is bad, but lack of it is a great evil?? Ok with me if you are, just don't understand your post.
